Abirem Agona, Central Region, Ghana — August 2026
DoctorsAct Ghana is pleased to announce a partnership with Samaritan’s Feet Ghana as part of our 2026 medical mission in Abirem Agona in the Central Region of Ghana, taking place from 17–21 August 2026.
This year’s mission is about more than providing medical care. It is about bringing together healthcare, dignity, service, mentorship, and hope — and we are delighted to have Samaritan’s Feet Ghana joining us in this effort.

Walking in Dignity
As part of the partnership, Samaritan’s Feet Ghana will support our mission by providing shoes to members of the Abirem Agona community. For us, this represents much more than footwear. A pair of shoes can provide protection, comfort and dignity. It can help a child walk to school, enable a farmer to work more safely, or simply give someone the feeling that their wellbeing matters. We are grateful to Samaritan’s Feet Ghana for joining us in putting this simple but powerful expression of care into action.
Investing in the Next Generation
Our partnership will also extend beyond the medical outreach.DoctorsAct Ghana will be engaging students at Abirem Senior High School through a capacity-building, career and mentorship seminar designed to inspire young people, expose them to different career possibilities and encourage them to think about their potential contribution to Ghana and beyond. We are particularly excited that Samaritan’s Feet Ghana will be joining us in this engagement. We believe that community transformation is not only about treating illness. It is also about equipping people with knowledge, confidence and opportunities to build better futures.
Serving Together
DoctorsAct Ghana expects to reach approximately 1,500–2,000 people during the three days of medical outreach. Through consultations, health education, screening, diagnostics and other essential services, our team will work alongside local partners and community members to bring accessible healthcare closer to the people. The addition of Samaritan’s Feet Ghana allows us to expand that impact beyond the clinic — bringing together health, dignity and empowerment in one mission.
We are grateful for the opportunity to collaborate with an organisation whose work aligns so closely with our commitment to serving communities.
A Partnership Beyond 2026
We hope that this will be the beginning of a long-term partnership between DoctorsAct Ghana and Samaritan’s Feet Ghana. As we look ahead to our 2027 missions, we look forward to exploring more ways in which our organisations can work together to serve communities across Ghana. We believe that when organisations come together with a shared commitment to service, the impact can go much further.
This August, we are not only treating patients. We are walking with communities, investing in young people and serving with purpose.
We are grateful to Samaritan’s Feet Ghana for partnering with us on this journey.
Together, we serve. Together, we inspire. Together, we make an impact.

Congratulations ! This sounds like a wonderful strategic partnership ! Proper footwear necessary for good health. As the 19th century Scottish philosopher, Thomas Carlyle said so eloquently : " He who has health, has hope and he who has hope has everything." Godspeed !
